La Quinceañera - When a young lady has chosen to have a Quinceañera, it's considered a time of transformation. It is not only a celebration' it is a time to reflect on her life as she becomes a young woman. As I have said on may occasions, "The Quinceañera is all about the inner you". I can't stress enough for the youth to understand this. Yes, it is a birthday party, but at the same time realize what it is all about. It's about the transformation, reflection, oath to God to be pure, and the impact this will have on your life. At this point there is a sibling, cousin or friend that is younger and sees you as someone they want to be like. You are considered a role model. So, please before you and your family head down this path, know what you are getting into and what it should be about.
